Judge Katherine Menendez began hearing arguments to halt the Trump administration's Operation Metro Surge after USA agents fatally shot two people in Minneapolis.The legal action follows the death of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse who was killed on Saturday during a protest where witnesses say he was shot in the back while unarmed.Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and Tim Walz are seeking to limit federal enforcement after the shooting of Alex Pretti and the earlier death of Renée Nicole Good.
