PostNord Ends 400 Years of Letter Delivery in Denmark

PostNord completed its final letter delivery in Denmark, officially ending a 400-year postal tradition as the nation phased out physical mail.The transition followed a 90 percent decline in letter volume since 2000, leading to the removal of 1,500 iconic red mailboxes and the loss of 1,500 jobs.While private company DAO will manage remaining domestic and international mail, Marlene Rishoej Cordes warned that 300,000 non-digital residents face isolation.
