Halimah DeLaine Prado, General Counsel at Google, announced a dual strategy to combat global scams from a phishing organization called "Lighthouse" based in China. The initiative includes a lawsuit filed against Lighthouse for providing phishing-as-a-service software, accused of swindling millions from over 120 countries and compromising between 12.7 million and 115 million stolen credit cards in the US Google also supports bipartisan legislative efforts such as the GUARD Act and the Foreign Robocall Elimination Act to improve law enforcement's ability to combat financial fraud.
