William Ahle, a New Jersey man previously praised for attempting to save his neighbor Virginia Cranwell from a July house fire, has been charged with first-degree murder, felony murder, burglary, and aggravated arson.Authorities from the Union County Prosecutor's Office and Fanwood Police, following a ruling by the Union County Medical Examiner’s Office that Cranwell’s death was a homicide, arrested Ahle on Wednesday in connection with the intentionally set blaze.
