Winter Storm and Deadly Avalanches Kill Five Across Austria

A powerful winter storm and multiple avalanches in Austria have killed at least five people and injured 20 others.Three victims died in St. Anton am Arlberg while a German man was killed near the Swiss border and another fatality occurred in Linz due to a snow-clearing accident.The extreme weather caused the closure of Vienna Airport and the A21 motorway while leaving tens of thousands of households without power across Styria and Slovenia.
