Thousands of protesters and business owners across Minnesota launched a general strike to oppose a massive surge in federal immigration enforcement.The demonstrations followed the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by a federal agent and the deployment of 3,000 officers to the state under "Operation Metro Surge."While the Trump administration cited a massive fraud investigation as justification for the crackdown, Tim Walz and local leaders condemned the tactics as an overreach.
