Five Die Following Stabbings and Police Shooting in Washington

Five people died after a 32-year-old man stabbed four victims before being shot by a deputy near Gig Harbor in Washington.The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the residence following reports that a suspect was violating a no-contact order.Shelbie Boyd confirmed the deputy fired shots to stop the active stabbing which resulted in the death of the suspect and victims.The Pierce County Force Investigation Team is now examining the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting and the initial response.
