Israel and Somaliland to Open Embassies Following Saar Visit

Israel and Somaliland will open mutual embassies following a landmark visit by Gideon Saar to the city of Hargeisa.Saar described the territory as a legitimate state, while Ali Omar accused Israel of wanting to relocate Palestinians to the region.The diplomatic breakthrough follows Israel's recognition of the breakaway region which declared independence from Somalia in 1991.
