Dave Coulier announced a new diagnosis of early-stage, P16-positive oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma, a type of HPV-related tongue cancer, following a routine PET scan that detected an abnormality at the base of his tongue.Coulier started 35 radiation therapy sessions with doctors stating the cancer is over 90% curable, and experiences side effects such as nausea and pain as he credits early detection from previous cancer monitoring.In addition to his health battle, Coulier launched AwearMarket in partnership with the V Foundation's Hockey Fights Cancer initiative to promote toxin-free wellness products and advocate for early cancer testing.
