Simona Mohamsson to Abolish F Grade in Major Swedish School Reform

Education Minister Simona Mohamsson announced a major Swedish school reform that replaces the failing F grade with a ten-point scale starting in 2028.The new system requires students to reach an average grade of 4 for upper secondary eligibility, aiming to prevent the exclusion of approximately 20,000 students annually.This initiative also establishes legal limits on teacher workloads and postpones digital national exams following persistent technical difficulties.
