Zhi Dong Zhang, also known as "Brother Wang," has been extradited from Cuba to the US to face serious drug trafficking charges. He pleaded not guilty in Brooklyn federal court to running a large-scale drug trafficking and money laundering organization involving narcotics such as cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. Federal officials describe his criminal enterprise as a vast global operation laundering at least $77 million through over 100 shell companies and spanning multiple US cities including Atlanta and Los Angeles.
