Béla Fleck withdrew from three scheduled performances with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Trump-John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after citing a charged political atmosphere.The banjo player was set to headline the American Mosaic program starting February 19 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.The cancellation follows the appointment of a new board including Usha Vance and a controversial vote to add Donald Trump's name to the institution.
