Pierfrancesco Albanese was fatally stabbed by his son in an apartment in the Sant'Elia district of Brindisi.The 41-year-old son, who has known mental health issues and was previously under psychiatric care, confessed to the killing after arriving at the police station with bloodstained clothes.The police and Carabinieri are investigating the circumstances of the murder while the son remains in custody at the disposal of the judicial authority.
