Conservationists and the public are mourning in Kenya following the death of Craig, a legendary "super tusker" elephant who passed away at age 54 in Amboseli National Park.The bull elephant was famous for his extraordinarily large tusks weighing over 45 kilograms each and had served as a symbolic ambassador for the Tusker brand since 2021.Born in 1972, Craig's survival to old age highlights the success of Kenya's anti-poaching initiatives, which saw the national elephant population grow to over 42,000 by 2025.
