At least 16 people died and a dozen were injured after a gas explosion destroyed a Karachi apartment building during Ramadan.Faheem Ashraf stated the blast occurred early Thursday in the Gul Rana area while residents prepared for pre-dawn meals.The disaster follows a similar gas-related incident in July where eight people were killed in Islamabad.
