FBI Searches Home and Office of LA Schools Chief Alberto Carvalho

FBI agents searched the home and office of Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho and a property in Florida following a court-authorized federal investigation.Although the DOJ confirmed that no arrests were made and the warrants remain sealed, witnesses observed authorities removing several boxes of evidence from the San Pedro residence.This federal probe occurs while Alberto Carvalho manages a massive structural budget deficit and legal battles involving a $76.7M lawsuit and $750M in sex abuse settlements.The Los Angeles Unified School District confirmed it is cooperating with authorities after Alberto Carvalho was previously warned the system could face insolvency within three years.
