Max Scherzer agreed to a one-year contract to return to the Toronto Blue Jays for his 19th MLB season.The deal includes a $3M base salary that could reach $10M with incentives following the team's World Series Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.The three-time Cy Young Award winner recorded a 5-5 record with a 5.19 ERA and 82 strikeouts during 17 games last season.
