Earthquake Strikes Central Italy
Residents in the Marche region report no damage after a 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck early Monday morning.The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology recorded the epicenter near Sant'Angelo in Pontano at a depth of 24 kilometers.The seismic sequence included dozens of aftershocks, including tremors of 3.1 and 3.0 magnitude that were felt across Macerata and Fermo.
