Achraf Hakimi to Stand Trial in France Over 2023 Rape Allegations

Achraf Hakimi has been ordered to stand trial in France following allegations of rape dating back to February 2023.The decision by an investigating judge to refer the Paris Saint-Germain defender to the Hauts-de-Seine criminal court follows a recommendation from the Nanterre prosecutor office.While his lawyer Fanny Colin plans to appeal the decision, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique confirmed the club continues to support the Moroccan international ahead of a Champions League match against AS Monaco.
