Anna Murdoch-Mann, the former wife of Rupert Murdoch and an active partner in the growth of News Corp, has died at the age of 81 in Palm Beach, Florida.During her 31-year marriage to Rupert Murdoch, she raised three children, Elisabeth Murdoch, James Murdoch, and Lachlan Murdoch, while also building a career as a reporter and novelist.Her philanthropic efforts earned her a Damehood from Pope John Paul II in 1998, and she later married William Mann following her divorce in 1999.
