Police Officer Killed in Fatal Moscow Train Station Blast Attack

Russian authorities opened a criminal probe after an explosion at the Savyolovsky train station in Moscow killed a police officer.Two other officers sustained injuries when an unidentified individual threw an explosive device at their parked patrol car.The suspect also died in the blast which occurred near the station square as security remains tightened at transportation hubs.This attack follows a series of similar violent incidents targeting law enforcement personnel in the neighboring regions of Lviv and Mykolaiv.
