USA District Judge Richard Leon issued a preliminary injunction blocking Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth from demoting Mark Kelly or reducing his military pension following his criticism of the administration.The ruling arrived two days after a federal grand jury in Washington refused to indict Donald Trump's political opponents for a video urging service members to refuse illegal orders.Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth had accused the veterans of seditious behavior, but Richard Leon ruled that the First Amendment protects the rights of retired service members to participate in public discourse.
