Benjamin Shroats Charged With Sexual Assault of Former Students

Benjamin Shroats was arrested and charged with sexual assault and indecency with a child following an Allen Police Department investigation involving two former students.The 47-year-old coach, who formerly worked with Team USA athlete Amber Glenn, was released on a $200,000 bond and barred from teaching.Attorney Scott Edgett stated that Benjamin Shroats denies all accusations of inappropriate relationships that allegedly began when one athlete was a minor.
