Spotify Stops ICE Ads After Nationwide Recruitment Campaign

Spotify confirmed it is no longer running advertisements for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after the Trump administration campaign ended in late 2025.The company said the ads — which urged listeners to “fulfil your mission to protect America” and offered $50,000 signing bonuses — were part of a wider U.S. government recruitment drive that ran on Amazon, YouTube, Hulu and Max.The confirmation follows criticism after an ICE agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good in Minneapolis and comes amid protests and musician withdrawals over Daniel Ek’s €600m investment in military AI firm Helsing.
