France secured a 36-14 bonus-point victory over Ireland at the Stade de France to open the 2026 Six Nations Tournament on Thursday.Louis Bielle-Biarrey scored two tries while Matthieu Jalibert recorded ten tackles and a try to help build a dominant 29-0 lead by the 48th minute.Coach Fabien Galthié described the win as a reference match for the squad after they reunited with captain Antoine Dupont.
