Novak Djokovic Leaves PTPA Player Union Over Alignment Concerns

#MelbourneCityCentre, #Australia
Novak Djokovic announced his departure from the Professional Tennis Players Association as his values and approach no longer align with the organization. The 24-time Grand Slam champion co-founded the union in 2020 with Vasek Pospisil to give athletes an independent voice against governing bodies. This move follows a lawsuit initiated by the association against the ATP and WTA, which accused the entities of maintaining a corrupt and abusive system.
