Recovery efforts continue in Galveston Bay after a Mexican Navy aircraft crash killed at least 5 people during a medical mission on December 22, 2025.The aircraft was transporting staff from the Michou and Mau Foundation and a 1-year-old burn patient when it went down approximately 50 miles southeast of Houston.While the FAA and NTSB investigate the cause, Cameron Batiste noted that dense fog had reduced visibility to roughly a half-mile at the time of the incident.
