Donald Trump has publicly backed a Republican plan to redraw the state's congressional map to dilute Democratic influence by splitting Indianapolis into parts grafted into four Republican-leaning districts.The House approved the map and the Senate is set to take up the measure while lawmakers report threats, intimidation and targeted harassment tied to the dispute.Several senators and other Republicans, including Mike Braun, JD Vance and Mitch Daniels, have taken different positions as outside groups such as Turning Point Action and Turning Point USA threaten primaries and mobilize supporters.
