Oscar Solarzano was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon after a stabbing on a Charlotte-area commuter train that left the victim hospitalized in critical but stable condition.Solarzano is being held without bond, court filings note he was in the U.S. illegally and had previously been deported, and he appeared intoxicated in an arrest warrant that says he challenged the victim to a fight.
