Alex Honnold will attempt a free solo climb of the 508-meter Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taiwan during a live Netflix broadcast.Producers implemented a 10-second delay and a strict safety protocol requiring both Honnold and the team to approve conditions before the January 23 event.The American athlete previously gained international fame for his rope-free ascent of El Capitan which was featured in the award-winning documentary "Free Solo".
