Islamic State Urges War Against Ahmad al-Sharaa's New Government

The Islamic State group called for a holy war against the new Syrian government and Western targets in its first major audio message in two years.Spokesman Abu Huzaifa al-Ansari labeled Ahmad al-Sharaa a Western puppet after the interim president joined the global coalition following the fall of Bashar al-Assad.These threats follow the transfer of 5,700 detainees to Iraq by the US military and the evacuation of the al-Hol camp amid security concerns in northern Syria.
