SpaceX Launches Jessica Meir and Crew-12 to Space Station

SpaceX launched Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, Sophie Adenot, and Andrey Fedyaev to the International Space Station on Friday to replace a crew evacuated for medical reasons.The Crew-12 mission arrived following the early return of Zena Cardman, Mike Fincke, Kimiya Yui, and Oleg Platonov, which had left the orbiting laboratory with a skeleton staff since January.The new team will spend eight months conducting research on bone health and testing artificial intelligence medical systems while waiting for the delayed Artemis II mission featuring Christina Koch.
