Fred Biery ordered the release of five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father Adrian Conejo Arias after describing their detention as a display of unconstitutional cruelty by the Donald Trump administration.Representative Joaquin Castro escorted the pair back to Minnesota on Sunday following their stay at a Texas facility where they were held as part of the mass deportation program known as Operation Metro Force.The arrest of the asylum seekers from Ecuador sparked national outrage and intense protests in Minneapolis after federal agents allegedly used the young child as bait to detain his parents.
