A small community in British Columbia is mourning after 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar killed eight people, including five children, during a shooting spree.Prime Minister Mark Carney ordered flags at government buildings to be flown at half-mast for seven days following the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge.Authorities confirmed that Jesse Van Rootselaar died from a self-inflicted wound after attacking a private residence and a secondary school with unregistered weapons.
