Leicestershire Crash Probe Continues After 3 Mothers Die
Police appealed for witnesses after three mothers died when a car left the A46 near Thrussington and crashed while traveling toward Sileby, with the driver arrested on suspicion of careless driving and later released but not ruled out as a suspect.Paramedics pronounced Virashi Chauhan, Neeru Patel and Bhamini Karsan dead at the scene, and officer Madeleine Hayes called it “a very tragic incident” as investigators try to determine why the car left the road. The deaths followed another fatal crash under investigation in Morgan Hill, California, where one person died and three were taken to trauma centers after a two-vehicle collision at Condit Road and Diana Avenue, and police said preliminary findings found no alcohol or drug impairment.
