Kristi Noem Mandates Body Cameras After Minneapolis Deaths

Luke Ganger and Brent Ganger testified at the Capitol after Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem mandated body-worn cameras for federal agents in Minneapolis.The policy change follows the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti during immigration operations which prompted a DOJ civil rights investigation and nationwide protests.While Donald Trump seeks $20 million for the camera program, his recent $1.2 trillion spending bill provides only two weeks of funding for the Department of Homeland Security.
