Katja Nyberg Denies Cocaine Use as Forensic Experts Refute Claims
Forensic experts have challenged the defense of Katja Nyberg after the Swedish lawmaker denied using cocaine following a traffic accident in Värmdö on December 26.Jimmy Blomqvist Larsson from the National Board of Forensic Medicine stated that the detected metabolite benzoylecgonine is a narcotic that only appears in the blood after cocaine consumption.The independent Member of Parliament, who was previously a police drug investigator, lost her driver's license and party membership after authorities found white powder and traces of narcotics during the investigation.
