Neymar signed a contract extension with Santos FC until the end of 2026 as he recovers from surgery to secure a spot in the next World Cup.The Brazilian star scored 11 goals last season to help his formative club avoid relegation despite recurring injuries and a lengthy absence from the national team.Neymar underwent a left knee operation on December 22 and expects to return to the pitch in February under the watch of coach Carlo Ancelotti.
