Over 65 Dead in Nigeria Following Armed Attack and Boat Capsize

Bola Tinubu condemned a series of tragedies across Nigeria that left at least 65 people dead following an armed raid in Niger State and a boat accident in Yobe State.In Kasuwan-Daji, gunmen killed approximately 40 residents and abducted children during a three-hour assault, while 25 others drowned when a boat capsized on the Yobe River.The UN warned that increasing insecurity in northern regions is exacerbating a hunger crisis projected to affect nearly 35 million people during the 2026 lean season.
