Kim Jong Un and his daughter Kim Ju Ae inaugurated the Saeppyol Street housing district in Pyongyang for families of soldiers killed fighting for Russia in Ukraine.The initiative follows intelligence estimates that over 6,000 of the 14,000 North Korean troops deployed to the conflict have been killed or wounded.Analysts believe the project aims to justify the intervention and consolidate power ahead of a major ruling party congress where Kim Jong Un will align with Vladimir Putin against the USA.
