Police in Rome dismantled a gang of 18 people behind at least 46 burglaries and robberies, with members coordinated by a contact inside Regina Coeli prison.The group targeted elderly victims and also committed thefts in casinos, gaming halls, and tobacco shops, using firearms to threaten victims and reorganizing quickly despite prior arrests.Arrests included 15 individuals sent to prison and 2 under house arrest after orders from the investigating magistrate, with operations led by the Department of Widespread and Serious Crime and supported by the Operational Unit of the Parioli Company.
