Federal Workers Sue Over Trump Administration Gender Care Ban

Federal employees filed a legal complaint after a Trump administration policy eliminating insurance coverage for gender-affirming care took effect on Thursday.The Human Rights Campaign filed the challenge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, arguing that the Office of Personnel Management policy constitutes sex-based discrimination.While Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and other officials defend the restrictions, the lawsuit claims the move aims to drive transgender people out of the government workforce.
