Russell Brand Pleads Not Guilty to Latest Rape and Assault Charges

Russell Brand pleaded not guilty to two new charges of rape and sexual assault at Southwark Crown Court in London.These allegations involving two women in 2009 are in addition to five existing charges of sexual offences against four other women.The investigation into the 50-year-old media personality began following reports by Channel 4 and the Sunday Times.A trial for the initial charges is scheduled to begin in June as investigators continue to examine claims from six separate women.
