Dr. Mark Chavez was sentenced to eight months of home confinement and three years of supervised release following his guilty plea in a federal scheme to obtain ketamine tied to Matthew Perry’s death.Chavez admitted he acquired 22 five-millilitre vials and nine ketamine lozenges from a wholesale supplier, met Dr. Salvador Plasencia to hand off the drugs, and cooperated with investigators after surrendering his medical license.Chavez is the second of five defendants to plead guilty in the federal probe as prosecutors continue pursuing other suspects, including a so-called Ketamine Queen who could face decades in prison.
