SVT's Dokument inifrån – Hatet has been reported to the Swedish Media Authority 2,220 times for its first episode, a record, after TV4 was criticized by the Media Ethics Council for publishing information that violated the privacy of Joakim Lundell's mother.The second episode has so far been reported 68 times, Helena Dal at the Swedish Media Authority said, and the previous record of 2,200 complaints was set in 2018 after Uppdrag Granskning's report on Fredrik Virtanen, which was later found at fault by the Review Board.The series, produced and reported by Bo-Göran Bodin, has reignited debate over Lundell's allegations against Annika Berg, disputes about SVT's editing, TV4's response including Mia Lindqvist's pledge to be more careful, and thousands of complaints filed with Granskningsnämnden that could trigger formal review.
